Pathologist's Assistant/Grossing Technician
Job Highlights:
Potential candidates must have excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
Analytic and diagnostic reasoning skills, strict attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-volume lab setting are a must.
Under the supervision of a pathologist, prepare human surgical specimens for gross description and dissection, including but not limited to describing gross anatomic features, dissecting surgical specimens, and preparing tissue for histological examination.
The shift is Monday-Friday 9:00 am-6:00 pm with some on-call time required.
Bachelor’s or associate degree in biological sciences, allied health sciences, or related field required.
