Patient Pap Test Status Service

This convenient and time-saving feature allows patient access to their Pap test status. This information is available online or through a dedicated toll-free telephone number. Physicians can instruct their patients to visit the Pee Dee Pathology Web site or call the toll-free number 7 days after their office visit to check on the status and/or result of their Pap tests. The Pap test results and/or status are available for 90 days from the date of service.

By providing a direct mechanism for result status, the Patient Pap Test Status Service is beneficial for both physician and patient.

The Pee Dee Pathology Patient Pap Test Status Service offers:

• Security - Results are secure and confidential, accessible only with a patient’s unique identifiers.
